MaryBeth Chawan

MaryBeth grew up in the Midwest on a farm with family, community, and a strong work ethic as her driving force. She moved to Nashville in 1992, along with her fiancée, who was attending graduate school. They married in Nashville, fell in love with the area, called it home, and raised their three children in Williamson County. MaryBeth’s previous professional career included accounting, office managing and personal training, sometimes juggling all three at once. She chose to put her career on hold, gratefully embracing the roll as the stay home parent, wearing all hats to support an active family and her husband’s entrepreneurial ventures.

For 20 plus years, MaryBeth was a parent volunteer for the Williamson County school system. She performed integral roles on various committees, boards, planning and the organization of special events, as well as team photographer. Keeping grounded and close to her roots, she continues to volunteer on a regular basis at Saddle Up, an equine therapy center for children in Franklin, TN. Supporting this incredible center and caring for the horses is food for her soul. Relationships and serving her community, intertwined with continued learning, are top priorities for MaryBeth.

Why Realty? MaryBeth has had a keen interest in the housing market for years, spending hours researching, watching growth, viewing as many homes as possible for architecture features and design, as well as assisting friends and families find the perfect community that suits their lifestyle and needs. It all comes back to the love of homes and helping people. “Lover of outdoors” could be her tag line. Her hobbies include riding her bike on the rolling hills of TN, hiking as many trails and mountains that she can find, swimming, gardening and traveling with her family.

MaryBeth has a true passion for people and community. “To have a servant’s heart and a desire to help make a difference in the lives of those around you is done by showing people we care. That is my motto, I care."
